North Bimini:

• Beaches -

*Radio Beach - stunning white sand beach; sea glass; green and white sea glass during low tide. Can get a bit busy in cruise ship in port. Couple of snack and drink shacks on the beach. Rental chairs/umbrellas and jetskis also an option.

*Blister Bay Beach - connected to Radio Beach on the right looking at ocean; beautiful swimming/snorkeling; more seclusion and quiet. Bring your own chairs.

*Bimini Public Beach/Kayak Beach - walk down ferry dock; snorkeling under bridge; local food

*Spook Hill Beach - just north of Alice Town; near cemetery; shallow, clear water, also great for snorkling

* Resort World Beach in front of [Name of restaurant]. - flat, sandy beach. Set up for hair rental but you can bring your own and set up your own area. Walk up to bar for a drink.

*Bimini Straw Market/Bimini Craft Center - Alice Town

Ansel Sander's Boat Building Shop/Craftsman's Spot??? - Alice Town/Bailey Town; died in June 2024); met MLK, Jr.; watch Mighty Waters film

*Dolphin House Museum (aka Bimini Museum) - Alice Town; rare movie of Hemingway; 10am-4pm; $20pp; can walk around the outside

*Compleat Angler - Alice Town; remains of hotel where Hemingway stayed for two years writing To Have and Have Not

Healing Hole - hidden mineral-rich, freshwater spring deep in a mangrove field; accessible only by boat/kayak during rising tide; need guide; East Bimini

Bimini Road - underwater rock formation for scuba divers; 1/2 mile long; 15-20 feet deep

*Nate's Bimini Bread - Bailey Town; get there early in the morning; opens at 8am; guava bread; cinnamon loaves; sandwiches; can also get Bimini Bread (coconut) at market

*Joe's Conch Shack - Bailey Town; cracked conch = battered and fried; conch salad = ceviche-like; conch fritters = hush puppy; leave a dollar bill!

*Stuart's Conch Salad Shack - local favorite in Bailey Town

Big Mike's Fresh Conch Salad - at Blister Beach in Alice Town
